On April 27th, Lord Chamberlain Recreation Department presented Volunteer Awards to many volunteers. Our volunteers help our residents in many ways from assisting them at BINGO, reading them their mail, visiting or taking them outside in good weather. Many volunteers reached milestones and one volunteer from St. Marks has been coming to Lord Chamberlain for 34 years! Therapeutic Recreation Director, Margaret Boos, presented them with a gift and flowers. A big thank you to all of our volunteers – you are so important to the Therapeutic Recreation Department as well as to the residents!
As part of Lord Chamberlain’s “Spring 2013 Educational Lecture Series”, Dr. Mojcik enlightened the audience about the symptoms and treatment options for this perplexing condition.
